Weathered Whispers is an original work in the Sentimental Sandscapes Collection

Inspiration and reference for this piece is found in the coastal terrain of South Australia's Limestone Coast, where the relentless forces of nature sculpt the landscape. The fluid forms in this piece evoke the changing contours of the coastline, where tide and time continuously reshape the land. These shapes are rendered with a sense of fluidity and grace, embodying the elegance of erosion.

The colour palette chosen by Alicia features rich browns echoing the earthy textures of mineral laden cliffs, shimmering golds reflecting the glistening sunlight and delicate pinks evoke the subtle hues of dusk.
