Commission Inspiration 

If a piece of Alicia’s art you are enamoured with has been sold, she can create a commission piece in a similar style, utilising the same colour palette and canvas size. 

Commissions will not be an exact copy or a replica of Alicia’s other works, as the fluid forms she creates are organic and spontaneous in nature. Furthermore, the nature of Alicia’s personal style and abstraction techniques means that she is unable to make revisions.

Alicia welcomes collaborations with interior stylists and designers. Her commissioned pieces can be based on a client’s decor, a preferred colour palette or inspiration images. 

If you are inspired by a landscape or sentimental experience, Alicia can create a stylised abstracted artwork that captures the essence of the image(s) supplied to her.

 

Commission Process

In order to ensure compatibility between Alicia’s creative style and client expectations, a consultation conversation will be scheduled. This collaborative conversation will provide clarity around creative direction, inspiration, preferences and requirements. 

Based on the consultation discussion, Alicia will create a written proposal for your commission. This includes a detailed description of the piece, including style, colours size and financial investment.

Once an agreement has been made regarding commission size, palette, pricing, framing and creation time frame, Alicia will send a Commission Agreement, together with an invoice for a non refundable 50% materials deposit. 

Alicia will start working on your commission, providing two progress updates, if so desired. Alicia will offer a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the process. Once completed, Alicia will add a triple coating of premium gloss varnish to the commissioned work, locking in vibrant colours and repelling dust.

Once an invoice for the remaining balance has been issued and paid, Alicia will package the work for shipping and send a confirmation of tracking.

The cost of a commission varies depending on factors such as size, complexity and artistic vision. Alicia provides transparent pricing in each commission agreement, ensuring there are no surprises along the way.
