About:

Dreaming of Dunes is an original work in the Sentimental Sandscapes Collection, capturing a childhood spent in the far corners of South Australia’s Limestone Coast.

The coastal terrain of Robe, Beachport and Port MacDonnell serves as inspiration and reference for this piece.  Banks of sand, rippled by tides, change character with the sun's passage across the sky.

Dreaming of Dunes is dynamic in composition, amplified by muted tones of beige, cream and ivory, offsetting the metallic highlights. The gold changes from a warm light gold to a deeper burnished tone depending upon the angle of the light.
