Blooms in Blush is an original work in the Salt Lake Sonata Collection inspired by the mesmerising hues of Lake Albert, Lake Hart and Lake Macdonnell.

Alicia depicts a stylised landscape of exquisite tones, illuminated by a concentrated pink algae bloom that thrives in inhospitable environments.

Contrasting white salt crusts, clay and mineral deposits give this piece an intoxicating cocktail of colour as seen through Summer's waves of heat rising from the dry shoreline.
